The Sorrento Peninsula is rich in gastronomic traditions, typical products like the Provolone del Monaco, lemons, walnuts of Sorrento, the mozzarella are just some of the famous delicacies produced in this region. We can help organise visits and tastings at local companies, such as farm Schiazzano, which is just 10 minutes from the Relais. The young manager, will pick you up at the hotel and will take you to visit the dairy, the lemon and wine cellar, giving you an opportunity to taste local products whist welcoming you like family. On request it is possible to conclude the tour with a demonstration lesson on how to make pizza and tastings.
Relais Blu can also organises cooking courses on request. These are based on typical dishes of the local region and will range from the preparation and cooking of appetisers to desserts. The cost is €100.00 per person. This includes the cooking class, tasting the cooked dishes, one bottle of water and ½ of local wine per person.
Several restaurants in the area offering the traditional Neapolitan cuisine provide a free shuttle service for guests at the Relais Blu.
